SUNDAY RIDE SEPTEMBER 4, 2016

Aloha Intruder Family & Friends:

Today was a good, but muggy day. Thank heavens we dodged another hurricane bullet. On board were Red, Marc, Barbara and Leslie. We did a short ride through the south shore, around Diamond Head heading east.

Took an r & r break at Hawaii Kai Chevron then continued around past Sandys & Nalo. Since it was still early we rode through Keolu to Lanikai. We then ventured the back roads of Kailua and the quarry road where we ran into Scotty blarring his horn as he normally does to greet us.

We had agreed earlier to have lunch at the Shack in Enchanted Lakes. Low and behold as we were going down to make the left turn into Keolu, the traffic lights were out and the police were setting up to direct traffic. We proceeded down to the Shack only to find out that the power was out. A quick and hungry huddle led us to Teddy’s where lunch was great, especially in an air conditioned place with good company.

End of ride was called. The day was short, but enjoyable and most of all we got to ride with no rain. Thanks for leaving Lester.  Mahalo n Aloha Marc
