SUNDAY APRIL 17, 2016

Aloha Intruder Family & Friends:

Welcome to Intruder Sunday on this rainy Sunday morning, those in the circle today were da v/p Kimo, Genny, Red, Marc, Barbra, and Kipp & Dandy. This morning we were going to the Harley shop, the Tatau M/C was having their run for autism today. As we approached the shop there was bikes everywhere a lot of the clubs came out this wet day, after parking all went to donate for the cause n talk story with friends from other M/C’s. After a bit it was time to roll out, we decided to do our own ride instead of following the mass of bikes.Good thing too cause as we were rolling out my bike was sounding mighty weird n on the freeway I knew water was getting in my carb which was making it buck and run lousy.I kept hoping it would warm up and roar to life. No had to pull over at Punahou n made it to Zippy’s on King Street and pulled under a dry spot.I was broke down but knew what the problem was. I told the group leaves Gen and I there and we would make do. But the club’s “motto leave no one behind “was the consensus n Marc n Barbra stayed behind with us. Mark had the right Allen wrenches that I didn’t have and I removed my carb cover cleaned. We went in Zippy’s n had something to eat while waiting for a break in the rain, after lunch it was time to roll. Bike started n we made our way to the freeway rain kept coming, after Marc n Barbra got to pali turnoff we waved and continued our way to Mililani rain kept coming bike started acting up again. A lot of bikes were pulled over on the freeway. I didn’t want to be one of them so we kept going, emergency flashers on as whatever speed I could maintain did 40 most the way home, sometimes slower. Bike coughing flu like till we got home, sweet home another adventurous time with the Intruders of Hawaii! Mahalo for all who came out to ride. Until next week stay safe, check your bikes for loose bolts n whatnots and see ya next Sunday mahalo n aloha da v/p
