SUNDAY RIDE AUGUST 14, 2016

Today in the circle were da v/p Kimo, Red, Marc, Henry, Ben & Gail, Ron, Brudda Ricard, Skully, Snaxx, & guest rider Gary. Our friend Dean from the Hui Makai stopped by to say aloha. After announcements n a prayer we headed Southside. First stop Waimanalo. It was good to be out with all the rain these past weeks, varoomba varoomba we went, we stopped by Diamondhead to gather any stuck riders coming thru Waikiki. Once all gathered, we continued thru Kahala, Hawaii Kai, Potluck pass Hanauma Bay, Sandy’s, Makapu u and into Waimanalo. Time for a break, after some riders turned around, some jumped onto H-3. Four of us continued into the north shore, we saw a few IOH members passed us going the other way, JimC, Bridgette & Scotty & Ulu. Guess they were riding in the Cycle City run for cancer that was going on today. Meanwhile we pulled into Papa oles’s for kau kau…after a nice lunch Snaxx n Marc turned around to go back. Red and I continued forward, we spilt at the freeway n Mililani turn off. The weather was great till I took my jacket off, then we caught a little rain, it just cooled us off, been very hot lately. Want to thank my road guards and all who came out to ride today! Until next week, stay safe, check your bikes for loose nuts n bolts, air pressure general maintience and come out n ride!
